Desde el 09 al 22 de noviembre de 2020, siempre bajo la dirección artística del Maestro Juan Falú, se realizará el XXVI Festival de Guitarras del Mundo de la UPCN. Este año, con el compromiso de siempre, la propuesta se ofrece a través de distintos formatos para plataformas, redes y canales. Contará además con la participación del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación y el apoyo de Radio Nacional y la Televisión Pública.
De la edición 2020 participarán 70 músicos de nuestro país y 20 músicos extranjeros de 13 países. “Este encuentro será recordado como el evento virtual que sintetiza los caminos de la guitarra por el mundo, en medio de una crisis que no alcanza a silenciarlas”, dijo Juan Falú.
Del 9 al 15 de noviembre, a las 19:00 se transmitirá por los canales del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación en YouTube y Facebook. También en la web del ministerio habrá un espacio dedicado a Guitarras del Mundo donde podrán consultar en cualquier momento el registro de las ediciones del festival.
Del 16 al 22 de noviembre el festival llegará hasta el último rincón del país a través de la Red de Emisoras de Radio Nacional donde se emitirá un programa especial conducido por Santiago Giordano.
Guitarras del Mundo comenzó en el año 1995 con tres sedes llegando a cincuenta y cuatro en su XXV° edición el año pasado, con la participación de más de 2400 guitarristas y con la concurrencia masiva del público. Este año, a partir de la resonancia de gestos y voluntades del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación; la Unión del Personal Civil de la Nación (UPCN); Radio Nacional, que apoya la difusión de los conciertos en sus más de 50 emisoras del país y las/los artistas que, poniendo la solidaridad por encima de cualquier circunstancia, tocaron sus guitarras interpretando con pasión y excelencia diversas piezas musicales, realizaron sus videos y entregaron lo mejor de sí para honrar un evento que les pertenece. Gracias a ellas y ellos. Gracias al equipo que año tras año se pone al hombro la organización de Guitarras del Mundo. Gracias al equipo de audiovisuales de Cultura por el empeño en la edición de 70 videos que incluyen alrededor de 90 guitarristas. Gracias a Santiago Giordano por la edición y conducción de los conciertos difundidos por Radio Nacional.
Este encuentro será recordado como el evento virtual que sintetiza los caminos de la guitarra por el mundo, en medio de una crisis que no alcanza a silenciarlas. Dedicamos esta edición a la memoria de Ricardo Louzao, noble constructor de nobles guitarras, que nos dejó. En Río Negro, el evento recibió la Declaración de Interés Cultural Provincial por parte de la Secretaría de Cultura del Ministerio de Cultura, Turismo y Deportes.
